I really enjoyed my lessons with Robin,he is an exellent instructor as well as being an all round great guy.
I did not pass first time round but Robin managed to keep me focused and gave me the determination to pass second time round,i would recommomend him to everyone ,thanx for everything couldnt have done it without you,Robin also taught my brother to drive.

David was like my adoptive dad in the car, firm but fair. Made my time in the car a pleasant one.
I would highly recommend him.

I had some driving lessons with another instructor who I felt did not teach me anything. My friend who sat and passed her driving test recommended that I give David a try.
He made learning to drive in the car gr8 fun. Always there to support you when you made a mistake.
I would definitely recommend that you give him a try.

Even when I was younger I looked forward to driving ,so for my 17th birthday there was only one thing I expected. I started my lessons with Robin on my birthday and he was great, you always know what you're doing with him and how to improve. Despite some hicups along the way I passed first time round, so thanks and I would recommend anyone wanting to drive to choose Robin as well.

After taking lessons with a couple of other instructors I started my tuition with Paul in July 2007 Knowing I wouldn’t be the easiest of pupils to teach. Paul was patient and informative so I felt immediately relaxed and comfortable with him which led me to pass my test in February 2008. I have recommended Paul to a friend and will continue to do so.
I also took my pass plus course.

Every lesson with David was a pleasure. He made learning how to drive fun and easy.
The opportunity to do a mock test with Robin, another 1st Pass Instructor, helped me prepare for my driving test.

Needing my full licence for my job as a mechanic, the pressure was on, Paul guided me through my lessons that i really enjoyed and prepared me for my test ,that i passed 1st time. I would like to thank Paul for all his patience.

Passed my test on the 15th October 1st time and i would recommend Robin as an instructor as he is easy to get allong with and teaches drivingwith his own high standards that i felt when i sat my test it made it easy,he makes you feel relaxedand properly prepares you for the test.

David taught my sister Nikita how to drive and she recommended him. He is very patient in the car and helps you build up confidence in yourself. Would def recommend him to anyone.

David is great at putting you at ease in the car. He also uses a no nonsense approach to his instructions which keeps you really focused.
I don't think i would have passed with another instructor.
He also taught my husband, my sister and my brother how to drive.

Robin is a brilliant driving instructor,he teaches you in a relaxed and calm enviroment.Robin helped me build up my confidence and believed in me.I passed my test on the 9th October,thanks very much for helpin me pass my driving test and i would recommend Robin to everyone.

Instructor - Robin I started my lessons with Robin around July 2006 and passed my test on the 19 January 2007 with 5 minors. Robin is an excellent instructor. He helps you feel relaxed and confident in each task he teaches you. Robin motivates you to do your best and does his up most to get you to your driving test as quickly and as cheaply as possible. From the very first lesson Robin was friendly, helpful and patient. I would recommend Robin to all of my friends and family, it really was 100% fun 100% learning.

I learnt to drive with Paul and he was very patient and supportive during my lessons. I passed my test just after christmas on 29th of December 2008 and i will definitely recommend him to all my friends and family.

David is friendly, knowledgable and patient which has really made me feel at ease while learning how to drive. He corrects mistakes without making me feel nervous or ashamed and also gives me feedback when I do something well, so I alway know where I stand.
I feel he has made me a confident and safe driver and would highly recommend him.

I learnt to drive with David. I always felt relaxed everytime on a lesson. David always helped me to correct mistakes, with patience and understanding and also gave positive feedback when I did something well. These things were then written into my progress book so I could then see over time how my driving had improved. I passed my theory and driving test first time. I don't think that I would have done this without David`s encouragment and support.
I have now recommended him to my sister and I`m sure that she will do just as well.

David used a few different methods to help teach driving, such as books, dvds, and monkeys. Defo an advantage as i didnt find it easy to begin with, through out my lessons david kept me positive helping me learn how to correct my mistakes, stay calm and grow in confidence meanwhile making the lessons fun.

Having previously doing my driving lessons with another company,before changingto Robin,i found Robin very reliable and enthusiastic resulting in me enjoying my lessons,i never felt pressured to make everything perfect as Robin would just keep encouraging me until i got it right,i passed my test on my 1st attempt January 2009 .

At the tender age of 47 and having previously taken lessons with other instructors I began to think I would never achieve my life long ambition.
The best move I ever made was to call Robin and book a lesson. I started my driving lessons with Robin on 1st November.
On my first lesson I was petrified and low on confidence. Robin was very patient and supportive and made me believe that passing my test was an achievable goal. He structured my lessons accordingly to enable me to overcome my fears and inspired me to achieve my greatest goal (I passed my test in March, WOOHOO!!!) Thanks so so much Robin you are the best.

I`ve been taking driving lessons with David and recently passed my test.
I don`t think that this would have happened if it wasn`t for all the help and support I received from David.

Robin at 1st Pass Driving School was a great instructor, allways kept things calm and made my nerves go away .
The progress i made was quick and any progress made was recorded in the 1st pass pupil handbook at the end of my lessons,very happy now that i have passed and it did not take long at all.

When I first thought of learning to drive it filled me with dread to be honest but after my first phone call to David I felt much better.
My first driving lesson was nerve racking but David was patient and calm which made me feel the same. He pointed out all the good aspects of my driving skills and focused on them and calmly told me what if I was doing it wrong.
My driving got better and better and I passed my test first time in August 2009 and its all down to David. I would recommend him to anyone.

I took my driving lessons with Paul Gregory. From the very first day, Paul was right on target to tell me the points that were informative and detailed. The thing I liked about his way of teaching was his way of explaining the things. He always tried to explain everything in detail. Helped me relax and drive at ease during lessons. he let you learn the driving in relaxed and friendly environment. It was during the test that I felt whatever he has told me during lessons was right on target and that helped me pass the practical test in the first attempt.

Instructor - Scott I was with another driving school before I started getting lessons with Scott, the difference between my last instructor and him was massive. He made me feel relaxed in the car and I never felt daft for the mistakes I made. I was under personal pressure to pass my test in a limited amount of time and Scott was hugely supportive throughout my lessons with him. I felt like I wasn't just another one of his lessons but that he took a genuine interest in preparing me for my test. He explained everything very clearly, and all lessons were well thought out and prepared, so that I felt I had progressed after every single one. He is 100% reliable. I passed my test first time, which I owe to him. My friend takes lessons with him and she is also very happy, I would recommend him to everyone, anyone should be thrilled to have Scott as their instructor :)

I would recommend anyone who wants to learn to drive to go with James Byrne, he is very patient, thorough and would say you cant meet a better instructor to learn with. I also passed 1st time thanks 2 James.

I finally passed my driving test after quite a few tries. David was very supportive and only ever offered encouragement. I would recommend David to anyone (and I already have) he has the patience of a saint.
I am now happily driving and I couldn't have done it without him.

Do your driving lessons with James. He was a great instructor and great fun to work with. Both me and my brother passed 1st time with him and I'm sure many more will pass 1st time with him!

David is very friendly and patient. I took a while to pass my test but he encouraged me to do my best and kept going over things I struggled with until I got them right. I always looked forward to my lessons and felt at ease every time I got into the car. Even when I made a mistake he would correct it without me feeling embarrassed or upset and he always gave me feedback when I did something well. Whatever we did on each lesson was put into my Pupil Progress Book so I could see over a period of time what I had did and how well I was progressing in my driving.
He was very reliable and he was never late or cancelled any of my lessons. Although I did not pass first time David gave me the confidence and support to pass on my second attempt. I would recommend David to everyone he is the best Instructor out there.
